A Little Catching Up and Giveaway Result

 

Playing a little catchup here as my busy summer got a little busier lately thanks to a 12 year old truck whose transmission finally gave up the ghost.  This is going to put a dent in ol' Crocodile's budget!  Thankfully there are cards to be had via trade or giveaways.

Just a few short weeks ago, Gregory, of Nine Pockets fame posted a giveaway and I gladly took advantage.  He does a great job with his custom cards.

A Set For A Set

In case you didn't read about, Tom from The Angels, In Order had posted about having an extra 1989 Pacific Legends set and wanting the 1988 set, which I happened to have an extra.  I was quick to take him up on that trade.  For some reason I've accumulated multiple sets from '88 but never picked up the '89, so this was an easy decision.  Thanks for the trade!

I did manage to spend a little bit and picked this 2014 certified auto of Fred Lynn for a whopping $5.  Sure it's a sticker auto and a Panini card, but hard to argue about the player and price.

Finally one lucky person from my prior post will see this box of FB/BB cards in their mailbox soon.
