I'm fortunate in that there is no shortage of card shows in this area. Every weekend (that isn't a holiday) there seems to be multiple shows going on and I try to take advantage of them all. I especially like it when the show is a mere 10 minute drive from my house. I just wish dealers would carry more vintage, but that's OK, I just roll with whatever is on hand and buy whatever catches my eye.
This numbered Artifacts RC of Brock Faber is one that caught my eye. Faber will be the cornerstone of the Wild's defense for years to come. That's all I have to show off from this show but there are plenty of stacks left on my desk for blogging fodder. Until next time, happy hunting!
Topps needs to bring back the Laser set. Nice pickups!
ReplyDeleteGreat pickups on the lasers
ReplyDeleteReally nice Smalley auto. Any Minnesota card is good for me, but Faber and Edwards are really good! I think I have quite a few 1996 Laser baseball cards.
ReplyDeleteA. You're lucky to have so many shows in your area. There's usually a free mall show about once every one to two months in my area. Every now and then a bigger one pops up, but I don't usually go to those because of the parking and admission fees.
ReplyDeleteB. It would have been so cool had there been a Topps Laser design that matched the laser diecut portion to the actual image on the card (kinda like how Topps matched the small foil icon to the player's photo on the 2004 flagship design).
