A Few More Pickups

Last weekend's card show may have been a bust but that hasn't stopped me from obtaining a few more cards.  Of course, I'll always buy cards as long as I enjoy the hobby.  This bunch of cards leans more toward the vintage side of things.

I'll start with these needs for my 1960 set build.  For some reason I thought I already had them and have passed on them in prior shows.  I guess with so many set builds going on at the same time its getting hard to keep them all straight.

Those 3 cards went along with this pile - not all needs - but maybe some upgrades (and trade).

I couldn't pass up on card #5 from the '68 set.  I'll have a want list up soon for this set.

I'm not only a sucker for die-cut cards, but this card is embossed too.  This 1998 Press Pass is a nice addition to my Randy Moss rookie pc.

A couple more Ant cards for my PC.

The WCF might not be working out in the Wolves favor, but that hasn't stopped me from stocking up on Ant rookies and this PSA 10 fits right in with my growing collection of slabbed cards.  Maybe if the Wolves get knocked out, the prices for Ant rookies will drop.

That's it.  A nice quick post.  Until next time, happy hunting!

  1. I have hung with Minnesota teams through thick and thin my whole life. That will not change. Nice cards!

  2. Two vintage sets I probably won't try to complete, 1960 and 1968 Topps. But never say never.

  3. I've grown to really like the '60 set. Don't think I'll ever try to complete that one, but do hope to own a few of those cards one day. Good luck on the set completion.

  4. Love the 1960 design! Can't imagine I'll ever build the set, but I do want to fill up a 9-pocket page with them in my vintage binder.
