Frame it Up (row 3): IP Auto's

Today's post focuses on row 3 of my framed up auto's.  All of these cards have a local flavor and were likely signed in-person.  The Twins cards I imagine were signed at a Twins Fest, as I've seen all of those players making an appearance there.

First up is Matt Lawton, who played for the Twins for most of seven years and was a fan favorite.  His signature has been consistent over the years so no reason to doubt its authenticity.  He signed a Leaf Preferred card from the 1996 set.

Next up is LaTroy Hawkins.  He pitched for the Twins for 9 years, posting a 5.05 ERA.  Yep, not the greatest but he had some moments.  This is his rookie card from 1994 UD.

Brad Radke signed his card from the 2000 Topps baseball set.  He played all 12 of his MLB season with the Twins and posted a 148-139 w/l record and a 4.22 ERA.  He was Mr. Steady for some good and a few not-so-good teams.

Cristian Guzman played for 6 seasons with the Twins and was a fan favorite.  This guy could flat out fly and once bunted for a home run (okay there was a throwing error on the play).  Here he signed a card from the Topps 2000 baseball set.

There is one more basketball card in the frame, this one being Hall of Famer Kevin McHale.  Anyone who follows basketball in this state recognizes this name.  He signed his UD card from the 1993 set.

That's a quick post covering row 3.  Tomorrow's post on row 4 promises to be a bit better talent wise.

  1. Hate the Celtics, but McHale was one heck of a player. So he wins this round.

  2. Kevin McHale is one of the more underappreciated players in NBA history.
