Johnny Comes Through Again

I haven't won all that much with Johnny's Trading Spot almost daily giveaway, but those few times he's come through with some great Twins needs.  I feel like I don't comment enough now, because I've missed a ton a giveaways (not that I'd win based on all the comments) but still, entering and then the occasional win feels kind of nice.  Because I'll take these Twins cards any time.

I'll start out with these two 2023 Panini Donruss Torii Hunter cards.  Prior to this, I owned zero cards from this set so to get the regular issue plus a blue parallel of Twins favorite Torii Hunter is awesome.

The 2023 Topps Finest of fan favorite Bryon Buxton is a nice addition to my Twins collection.

This pair from Topps Heritage is also welcome.  I had high hopes for Miranda to stick around in the bigs.  The Gallo signing I wish was working out better.

A shiny parallel from 2023 Topps is really cool looking.  I just wish Correa could hit more than .220.

These 3 from Topps 2020 3D are really cool.  The lenticular design harkens back to the good old Kellogg's days.  Plus I get an Arraez rookie?  Awesome!  I think I had commented on Johnny's blog a while back about that Arraez card, so really cool that I had a chance to land it.

Thank you Johnny for the give away!  And stay tuned I have another card give away coming soon!

  1. As someone who grew up and had more 1990 Donruss than anyone should have, I really appreciate the 2023 Panini Donruss' commitment to it's predecessor while also throwing in a splash of white or blue as well to make it look different. Nice twins pick-ups!
