Adding to My PC's

Is it possible to add too many cards to a player PC?  Given some of the player collection counts on TCDB I don't think so.  So when I see cards of my favorite players, I try to add them whenever possible.  Of course it also depends on what I want to spend on said cards.  So when I recently came across a lot of Anthony Edwards cards I was careful to not overspend on what my perceived value of the lot was.  It helps that these cards were mostly base cards or inserts (not that those are a bad thing).

To be honest I'm not sure if I already have a couple of these but that doesn't matter.  I'll take whatever Ant cards I can get - rookie or not.  This was a nice variety of base cards.

Once in awhile I'll also up my game a bit and splurge on things like a pink ice rookie.  Ok so maybe spending $20 isn't exactly splurging but I consider this a good value.

You know what else I consider good value?  Picking up a nice Ortiz rookie for under $10.  Every Twins fan out there feels a little bitter about letting him go.

Another value add was this soft cornered '68 Killebrew.  I really don't remember if I already have this card but it's another for the PC (and set build).

I haven't been working as hard as I should to complete this insert set but for some reason these cards are either hard to find or the asking price is way, way too steep.  When it comes to splurging on cards I have my limits and fortunately I landed this one within those limits.

This Jackson Holiday Bowman Chrome was included with the card above and it's my first card from that set.  I don't really find the design all that attractive so I'm not keen to go after this set.

Here's a card for my Vikings PC and bonus that it's numbered.  It's also my first autograph of this former Viking great.

There are a few more card shows coming up that I can't wait to check out and hopefully I'll be able to add more cards to my player PC's.  Until next time happy hunting!
