Have you ever been so busy you forgot about something really important? That about sums up my week. Between work, deciding on Thanksgiving plans, holiday shopping and other things, I totally forgot about this blog's anniversary. Normally I would have a little fun giving away cards at this point but I'll plan to do a contest around the holidays so stay tuned.
In the meantime let's look at a few recent additions.
These two Hostess cards from 76 and 77 are great additions for these set builds.
I also picked up a '63 Jell-o Manny Jimenez and a '63 Post Don Drysdale.
These four 68's were very affordable.
However I had to shell out $20 for this Whitey Ford, which is in really good condition.
This 51 Bowman Duke Snider also set me back $20. I picked up a lot of these 51's recently and will show those off in another post.
This was a set need and set me back $5.
A miscut Owen Friend from the 1952 set cost about $7.
Three more set needs for my 1969 build.
And a few more for my 1972 set build. This is now about 93% complete. Only 56 cards to go!
This was an oopsie buy. I actually need the Hand Aaron IA, but I guess you can't have too many Aaron's right?
Finally we have cards from Johnny of
Johnny's Trading Spot fame. He had a little giveaway recently and I was lucky enough to land a page of cards.
The highlight for me was getting another Elly De La Cruz for my PC. Thanks for the cards Johnny!
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and I'm looking forward to another year of Crocodile Sports Cards! Thanks for stopping by!
