The Second Weekend of Multiple Shows

A couple of weeks ago, when my brother was visiting, we had the fortune of choosing from four different card shows that weekend.  I was able to visit two of the events and he made it to one.  The show he missed was at a local gym,  which turned out to be lucky for me as I managed to find some good deals there.  We attended a second show held at a local mall, but I've noticed this particular show appears to be getting smaller over time.  Hopefully it will rebound as I've found some good deals there in the past.

I'll start with this card, which was picked up at the mall show.  My brother and I spotted this and both of us initially passed on it.  However, as we took another trip around the show we talked about that card and made our way back.  The dealer priced it at $20 and at my brother's urging I took it home.  Kind of glad he talked me into it as I've seen some pretty high prices on this card.

This Bowman Chrome Elly De La Cruz rookie was a good pick for a couple bucks.

Of course finding another Arraez to add to my PC is always good, especially when its a refractor.

Die cut cards are always cool to get.  This 2023 Topps Stadium Club Triumvirates is my first card from this insert set.

This World Series showed me that I need to add more Ohtani's to my collection.

Another player I might have to add more and more of.  This is my first card of Seattle's slugger.

Another slugger that I'll pick up anytime. This '66 Killebrew was picked up in a bundle for less then $20 and it's in great shape.

With a dinged corner, I wasn't sure if $20 was too high but it's another card checked off for this set build.

Another nice vintage for the '64 set.

I've wanted this card for a long time and finally found one at an affordable price.

The last card to show off is this 1962 Post Fran Tarkenton rookie.  This was found at a local shop we stopped at after the show and for $30 I couldn't resist.

It's always fun when my brother comes to town and we can catch up while hunting cards.  Speaking of which, he also had some fun opening a couple of boxes of hockey cards.  You can view those on his YT channel below.  Until next time happy hunting!
