Here's an incoming mail haul that I’ve been meaning to share for days, but between the gloomy weather and a serious case of 'procrastination-itis,' tomorrow is looking a lot more likely than today. And now that tomorrow is today, let's look at some cards.
From 2022 Topps archives I picked up this Duke Snider. I love that '78 design and need to pick up more of these. Or who knows, maybe this card will go out to a certain Dodger fan.
I also added to my 2024 Chrome football set build. I'm just over 40% complete.
Joan Beringer could be a really good player if he would stop fouling so much.
Though I'm not actively pursuing this yet, I picked up a decent Reggie cloth sticker.
Finally I have begun my 1973 Frankenset build! Some readers may have noticed a '1973 Frankenset' tab that has been up for awhile. I've finally put some time into that and now I am ready to build the best worst set possible! Check it out and let me know what you think.

The miscut '73 set build looks like it will be fun.
ReplyDeleteIt should be fun, though I'm not looking forward to buying another Schmidt rookie. I've also seen some fabulous miscuts on ebay but the asking price is crazy.

ReplyDeleteThere's an OBC member named Casey Branton who is putting together a "worst 1973 Topps set" ever, of overall poor conditioned cards. You might want to reach out to him to see if he's got any extra miscuts!
